Camera? check. Feet? check. Passion? check. Street walk? Lets do this.
Me and wee banjo are off for what I call a Street Walk, simply put it’s me & my camera (My Fuji XE1 with XC 15-50mm kit lens). I don’t have any affiliation with Fuji, other than my love for this outstanding wee mirrorless babe, and a babe it is, slinky and sexy, and capabilities that are outstanding, I have a vast array of lenses, even lens converters to ensure I can use as many different lenses as possible, truth be told though the kit lens XC 15-50mm is very rarely removed when I am street walking. It’s light and powerful and delivers in my humble opinion outstanding results.
Street Walk sounds almost sinister like I am some pimp, or gigolo ha-ha. I’m not, well except weekends, it has just become my code for “peace and tranquility”, my selfish time, where I tune out of life and tune into other peoples lives, or even tune into my surroundings from birds, bees, trees and even buildings. As I continuously explain Glasgow seems to be where I feel most relaxed and competent, a city I have overwhelming love for. I love everything about it, it’s people, its architecture, it buzzes of wonder and adventure, every alley way, every derelict building, every bustling street is full of old and new magic.
I have only explored a small section of this great city, mainly due to time and excitement, It’s easy to fill your cards with images, I defy any photographer to tell me they left Glasgow without a single outstanding image, it is quite frankly impossible. Anyway I have attached some of my favs from this current adventure, a mixture of buildings, to randoms, here is my enjoyable Street Walk.
